Lavender Fields of Afşin
In Afşin, which is very favourable for the cultivation of plants used in cleaning, health and food sectors, especially cosmetics, due to its basin and altitude, lavender production, which started with 3 greenhouses in 2014 by Afşin Municipality, has reached a size of 380 decares as of March 2021. In addition to raw material production, lavender gardens for visiting purposes also contribute to the tourism of the region.
